Erik Lucia  2011-2014 (3-year term)

President since 2008 
Erik joined the Board as Vice President in 2007 when Bill Olsen retired and stepped up to the the Presidency when Tim Sweet stepped down in 2008.  With his wife, Cyndi, he has spruced up the Boathouse displays, museum room and Thordarson furniture.  Erik lives in Luxemburg, WI.   Email Erik.

Cyndi Lucia  2011-2012 (1-year term, will be elected for 3-year term next year)

Cyndi was elected as Vice President at the summer 2011 annual meeting.  She joined the Board in 2007 as a member at large.  Along with her husband, Erik, she spruced up the Boathouse.  She brings a lot of creative energy to our endeavors.  She lives in Luxemburg, WI.   Email Cyndi.

Colleen Andrews  2011-2013 (2-year term)

Secretary since 1997
Colleen served as Board Vice President from 1995 - 1997 and as newsletter editor for a few years. She was elected Secretary in 1997 and continues in that role. She also hosts and edits our web site. She is from Almond, Wisconsin.   Email Colleen.

Jeanell Dailey  2011-2013 (2-year term)

Treasurer since 1997
Jeanell has served on the Board since 1994. She was elected Treasurer in 1997 and continues in that role. She is from Madison, Wisconsin.   Email Jeanell.

 

Randy Holm  Indefinite Term

Ranger, Rock Island State Park

Randy is managing the park property since summer 2011 following the retirement of Ranger Kirby Foss.  He has been a ranger at Rock Island State Park since 2000.   Email Randy

Terry Anderson  2011-2012 (1-year term)

Newsletter Editor since 2010
Terry joined FORI soon after writing an article about the Pottawatomie Lighthouse for the Green Bay Press Gazette.  He volunteered to be a docent in Summer 2009 and recently replaced Lynne Diebel as our newsletter editor. Terry is from Green Bay, WI.  Email Terry.

Grace Ann Carpenter  2011-2012 (1-year term)

Merchandising Coordinator Grace Ann joined the board in 2004 as a member at large. She is our merchandising coordinator. She was a childhood friend of Chester Thordarson's granddaughter, Julie, and they remain friends today. Grace Ann resides on Washington Island.  Email Grace Ann.

Jim Johnston  2011-2012 (1-year term)

Jim joined the board in 2005 as a member at large. He is the past president of the Milwaukee Chapter of the Harbor Lights collectors club and has raised thousands of dollars in donations and brought lots of volunteer workers from his club for FORI Pottawatomie Lighthouse projects.  He is a member of our Merchandising Committee.  Jim lives in Milwaukee, WI.   Email Jim.

Tim Sweet  2011-2012 (1-year term)

Past President (1997-2008)
Tim is a founding member of the Friends of Rock Island who served as Secretary since 1994 and was elected President in 1997. In 2008, he stepped down as he had taken on the role of the President of the new Friends of Plum and Pilot Islands (FOPPI) organization.  He currently serves as a member at large. He resides in Clintonville, Wisconsin.  Email Tim.

Carol May  2011-2012 (1-year term)

Carol joined the Board in 2008 as a member at large.  She resides in Appleton, Wisconsin.  Email Carol.

Kathleen Morris  2011-2012 (1-year term)

Kathleen joined the Board as a member at large in 2008.  She resides on Washington Island, Wisconsin.  Email Kathleen.

Randy Spevacek  2011-2012 (1-year term)

Randy joined the Board as a member at large in 2009. He resides in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Email Randy.
